You can raise Jira tickets for all your issues directly from your browser. Include comprehensive details in a unified bug report, alongside Jira-specific information. Once you authorize BetterBugs with Jira, it instantly fetches the configured template for you to add details like Project, Issue Type, Assignee, etc. Fill in the details and create Jira tickets right away, complete with a link to access the full bug report.
Download the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Install and pin it to the browser for quick access.
Take a screenshot, record a video, or hit Rewind (if it's already enabled for the website).
Below the "Send to your tools" dropdown, select the BetterBugs Workspace and Project to connect with Jira.
Dropdown 1: User's Workspace (default: BetterBugs Workspace Name)
Dropdown 2: User's Project (default: BetterBugs Project Name)
Important Note: The integration will happen to the specific project you selected within BetterBugs. This means that if you have multiple projects, you'll need to set up separate integrations for each one.
The integration is complete.
When you create a Jira task, a new tab opens and posts the task to the designated Jira project. This task includes all the necessary details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools information.
You can access the full bug report on the BetterBugs Dashboard, which contains all the captured information.
Click "Send to your tools" from the top menu and select "Jira issue" from the "Select" dropdown. This will fetch the report template from Jira. Add details, such as Project, Issue Type, Assignee, and others.
Note: You can also update any details already available in the bug report
A new tab with the created Jira Issue opens up posting the ticket to the Jira Project containing all the details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools information.
