You can raise Jira tickets for all your issues directly from your browser. Include comprehensive details in a unified bug report, alongside Jira-specific information.
Authorizing BetterBugs for Jira enables BetterBugs to fetch the configured Jira template for you to add details like Project, Issue Type, Assignee, etc. Fill in the details and create Jira tickets right away, complete with a link to access the full bug report.
The integration is complete.
When you create a Jira task, a new tab opens and posts the task to the designated Jira project. This task includes all the necessary details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools information.
You can access the full bug report on the BetterBugs Dashboard, which contains all the captured information.
To check if the integration worked correctly and the report was shared with your Jira project,
Open the report that you just shared (using the Issue report link from the Jira task or your BetterBugs project).
and pin it to the browser for quick access.
Take a , , or hit (if it's already enabled for the website).
NOTE: The integration will happen to the specific project you selected within BetterBugs. This means that if you have multiple projects, you'll need to set up separate integrations for each one. You can also with the tool.
Click on the tab at the bottom right to check for a successful task creation message or any other activity on it. Make sure to enable the “Activities” with the toggle switch.
A new tab with the created Jira Issue opens up, posting the ticket to the Jira Project containing all the details and a link to the complete bug report with .
