BetterBugs Integration with Trello

Here's how to configure and integrate BetterBugs with Trello:

  1. Download and install the BetterBugs extension.

  2. Capture the bug using the Screen Capture, Video Recording, or Rewind feature of BetterBugs.

  3. Add a title (Required) and other details about the bug.

  4. Open the "Send to your tools" dropdown from the top right corner of the report screen.

  5. Click on "Connect Trello" to authorize BetterBugs for Trello and click "Allow".

  6. Below the "Send to your tools" dropdown, make the selections as per your preference for BetterBugs Workspace and Project: Option 1: User's Workspace (default: BetterBugs Workspace Name) Option 2: User's Project (default: BetterBugs Project Name)

  7. Click again on the "Send to your tools" dropdown.

  8. Click "Trello Card". This fetches the report template for "Your Trello task info". Add details like Workspace, Board, List, etc.

  9. Hit the "Upload Bug" button.

There you have it. A new tab with the created Trello Card opens and gets added to the Trello workspace containing all the details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools info. You can access the complete bug report on the BetterBugs Dashboard with all the information.

That's how you integrate Trello with BetterBugs.

Here's how to send your existing BetterBugs report to Trello:

  1. Login to your BetterBugs account and open the report you want to share.

  2. Click "Send to your tools" from the top menu and select "Trello Card" from the "Select" dropdown.

  3. This fetches the report template for "Your Trello task info". Add details like Workspace, Board, List, etc. (Note: You can also update any details already available in the bug report.)

  4. Click the "Create Card" button.

That's it. A new tab with the created Trello Card opens up posting the Task to the Trello workspace containing all the details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools info.
