Steps to integrate BetterBugs with Notion
Integrating BetterBugs with Notion is pretty straightforward. Here are the steps for it:
Install extension
Install the extension and pin it to the browser for quick access.
Capture the bug
Take a screenshot, record a video, or hit Rewind (if it's already enabled for the website).
A new tab with the created Notion task opens up, posting the Task to the selected Notion project, bundled with visual proof and devtools details, such as reporter information, issue link, logs & diagnostics, environment information, and more. You can access the complete bug report on the BetterBugs dashboard by clicking the links in the Notion task.
This completes the integration. Now, whenever you create a report, you can instantly send it to Notion right from your browser.
To check if the integration worked correctly and the report was shared with your Notion project,
Open the report that you just shared (using the Issue report link from the Notion task or your BetterBugs project).
Click on the Comments/Activities tab at the bottom right to check for a successful task creation message or any other activity on it. Make sure to enable the “Activities” with the toggle switch.
Steps to send an existing report to Notion
A new tab with the created Notion task opens up, adding the task to the Notion Project with all the details and a link to the complete bug report with developer tools info.
