Session Filters

Applying Filters to the Collection of Available Sessions/Reports in a Project

Once you log into your BetterBugs account and open the Dashboard, you will find a search bar (in the top right section of your dashboard) to search through the logged bug reports or sessions. Next to the "Search for sessions" bar, you will find the "Filters" button with various customization options to filter out bug reports/sessions.

Six options are available to filter out bug reports from the collection of reports/sessions.

  1. Select Date Range: Filters sessions for the project based on the start and end date.

  2. Severity: Filters sessions for the project based on marked severity levels: "Low, Medium, High, Urgent".

  3. Status: Filters sessions for the project based on marked status: "Open, In Progress, Closed". (Note: The session gets auto-marked as "Open" when you capture a screenshot/video. This can be later updated to In Progress or Closed after the session is uploaded to your BetterBugs account. And then you can filter the results based on the status.)

  4. Creators: Filters sessions for the project based on the member/members who created the issue.

  5. Tags: Filters sessions for the project based on attached tags.

  6. Integrations: Filters sessions for the project based on the available integrated tools for your project.

Show archived sessions only: You can tick the box to only filter the archived sessions based on the other filter selections.

You can clear the selected filters individually or all at once (using the Clear Filter).

To get filter results, press the "Apply Filter" button at the bottom right corner of the "Filters" menu.
